Workbench kit – A vise working on a workbench can be one of the most valuable tools in your wood shop. There are many different types of defects workbench, but the basic premise is the same in all of them: a piece of hardwood joins the bench, while the other is attached to vice hardware nipping the second piece of wood to the first, the object between the clamping jaws. A working vise can be installed in about an hour with a few basic tools.


Workbench kit, remove the rear support rods screw and vice center guide assembly kit. Remove the bracket from the rear vice jaw mounting accessory kit. Measure the diameter of the screw center (at its widest point) and the two guide bars. Stop side 1/8 bits larger than the diameter of each inch.

Workbench kit position of the rear support against the edge of the worktable jaw and mark the hole locations for the center screw, guide bars and two mounting screws. Holes in the appropriate places with drill bits you chose. Drill holes for screws suitable size. Place a wooden block holder rear jaw, and another to support the front jaw. Position hardwood blocks protruding leaving about 1/8 inch above the table when the jaws are installed.
